MUDr. Miriam Petrov
General practitioner for adults, board certified in internal medicine and general practice. Practising in Prague 6 since 2005.

My name is Miriam Petrov, née Stiefelová, and I was born in Trenčín. I studied at the Faculty of Medicine of P. J. Šafárik University in Košice, Slovakia.
Already during my studies I completed placements at various clinical departments in Slovakia and abroad: at the University Hospital, Rambam Hospital (Haifa, Israel) and Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead (London, United Kingdom).
After graduating in 1998 I worked for three years at the 4th Department of Internal Medicine and several months at the department of rehabilitation medicine of the Louis Pasteur University Hospital in Košice as a resident physician.
From January 2002 I worked at UNICARE Medical Center in Prague 6 and from November 2004 at Medicover in Prague. In September 2005 I opened my own private practice in Prague 6.
I am a member of the Czech Medical Chamber, the Czech Medical Association of J. E. Purkyně and the Association of General Practitioners.
I have lived in Prague since 2002 and have two children. Besides my family and profession, my interests include reading, theatre, travelling, nature, hiking and recreational sport.
